The USAIGC/IAIGC embraces individual event specialists, allowing our gymnasts to compete in up to six events. This approach ensures variety and prevents boredom, eliminating the feeling of being “stuck in a level.”
Our qualification procedures offer flexibility:
- State Championship qualification is attainable at any sanctioned USAIGC/IAIGC competition.
- Regional Championship scores, set just 1 point higher than State Championship scores, can be achieved at any USAIGC-IAIGC Sanctioned Competition.
- Gymnasts can qualify for the World Championship by competing in State and/or Regional Championships.
At the heart of the USAIGC/IAIGC competitive program is a belief that the competition experience is just as important as the competition itself. Our gymnasts thrive in an environment that fosters friendship, shaping successful, healthy, and well-rounded athletes. This is the essence of the USAIGC/IAIGC competitive program.
As President of USAIGC/IAIGC, I am proud to declare that parents, Member Clubs, and coaches have collaboratively cultivated a nurturing competitive environment.
Our IGC gymnasts are envisioned to emerge as well-rounded, successful, intelligent, and goal-oriented young ladies, poised to conquer the challenges of tomorrow.
