OCSC Job Description Management Team Job Title: Head Gymnastics Coach Reports To: Director of Operations SUMMARY: We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance. The Head Coach is responsible for overseeing all gymnastic programs, supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. The Head Coach is a highly visible position to all participants and parents and is an executive position participates in all management team meetings. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree (or 5 years related management experience.) Broad knowledge of all levels of Gymnastic Coaching, Recreation programs and other sports programming. 5 years experience in the supervision of staff, fiscal management, and program development. The Director must have strong people skills, organizational, and administrative skills. Must be flexible and available to work nights and weekends. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Possess a valid driver license and have reliable transportation. Must have excellent computer skills, Microsoft Word & Excel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for program scheduling, staffing, planning, recruiting and delivering high level gymnastic programs & youth programming. Assist in the marketing content and distribution of program information to OCSC Front Desk. Create exciting, innovative, and profitable programs year round. Maximize high occupancy for all spaces year round. Assist with development of OCSC youth events, meets, and miscellaneous special events. Compiles program statistics on occupancy and enrollments. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in all programs. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with SFF Gymnastic Team with other community organizations. Develop and monitor program budget to meet fiscal objectives and expense controls while driving overall revenue. Respond to all customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner. Coach both USAG and USAIGC gymnastics teams. Competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with experience.
